“I am a lady”

This project is the result of a chain reaction with 6 different themes. Starting with Doos, Rood, Snor (“Box, Red, Mustache”), Dada, Virus, Campaign, Inspiration and finally Punt (“Period”). The leading threat through all these works is to pick apart the stereotypes of what it means to be ladylike. This resulted in posters with three different stereotypes which are often portrait as not ladylike, a Dada version of the text “Ladies don’t curse”, a virus that spread the word Godverdomme (“God Damnit”), a campaign for a cursing course for women and a podcast with three women who I would describe as an inspiration to me and my womanhood. These six individual projects all came together in the Instagram page @IkBenEenDamePunt (“IAmALadyPeriod”),
the period to the chain.
